OPEN HOUSE at WIWS!

  • Whidbey Island Waldorf School 6335 Old Pietila Rd. Clinton, WA 98236 United States (map)

Saturday, March 26th  ~  10 a.m. – 12 noon

On campus

On Saturday, March 26, do come along and see for yourself what happens inside a Waldorf classroom, and speak with Alum about their school experiences. We will have classroom tours, with teachers onsite. Plan to stop by for this inside view of the classrooms and curriculum from Nursery and Kindergarten through the Grades.

Hear from our class teachers directly about how they bring Waldorf alive in their classrooms so that it is relevant and engaging for the children. Each tour group will have the opportunity to view examples of student work and converse with the class teacher to learn more about the Waldorf curriculum for the various grades. We will also have two early childhood teachers present to talk with those who have younger children. This will be an especially important and inspiring event for prospective parents.

"By the time they reach us at the college and university level, the Waldorf students are grounded broadly and deeply and have a remarkable enthusiasm for learning. Such students possess the eye of the discoverer, and the compassionate heart of the reformer which, when joined to a task, can change the planet."
– Arthur Zajonc, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Physics, Amherst College
